Privacy Policy - Setsy

Effective October 11, 2026

1. About this policy

Setsy is a concert passport made by Kept Records LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("Kept Records", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information Setsy collects, why, who can see it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Setsy iOS app and to the Setsy web pages that link to it, such as invite links.

This policy is separate from our Terms of Use, which are the rules for using Setsy.

2. Your rights and controls

Some U.S. states give their residents specific privacy rights. We give the same rights to everyone who uses Setsy, wherever you live. You won't be treated differently for using them.

Your rightHow to use it

Correct your data Change your name, handle, and photo in Edit profile. Edit or delete any show, caption, or comment from the app. For anything else, email us.
Delete your data Delete single shows or comments in the app, or delete your whole account from Edit profile > Delete account. See section 8 for what that removes.

Appeal a decision If we turn down a request, reply to our answer and ask us to look again.

We answer requests within 45 days. To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm a request from the email address or Apple ID you sign in with. Someone you've authorized in writing may make a request for you. Guests have no account we can match a request to, but you can delete a guest's data yourself by deleting the app.

3. What we collect

When you start using Setsy

WhatDetails
Guest ID You can use Setsy without an account. When you open the app, it creates an anonymous ID with no name or email attached. Your shows are saved on your phone and may also be stored on our servers under that ID.

When you create an account

WhatDetails
Sign-in details With Sign in with Apple, we receive an identifier from Apple and the email Apple shares with us, which can be a private relay address if you choose Hide My Email. With email sign-in, we receive the email address you enter so we can send you a sign-in link.

Shows The shows you log: artist, venue, city, date, and any caption or details you add, including private events you host or are invited to.
Social activity Friend requests you send and accept, comments and replies you post, comments you like, and invites you send or receive.
Notifications If you allow notifications, a push token that lets us send a notification to your phone.
Technical data Like most online services, our hosting provider records technical details when the app connects, such as IP address, request times, and error information. We use these to keep the service running and secure.

What stays on your phone

Photos and videos you capture or choose for a share card are put together on your phone and are not uploaded to us. The same goes for a private event's cover photo. If you save or post a share card to another app, that app's privacy policy applies to the copy you post.

From other companies

If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple sends us the details described above. We don't buy or receive information about you from data brokers, advertisers, or anyone else.

4. Device permissions

Setsy only asks for a permission when you use the feature that needs it.

PermissionWhy
Photos To choose a profile photo, or a photo for a share card or private event.
Camera and microphone To record a clip at a show for a share card. The clip stays on your phone.
Notifications To tell you about friend requests, invites, and replies to your comments.
Clipboard The first time you open Setsy after tapping an invite link, the app checks your clipboard once for the invite code, so the invite isn't lost while you install. iOS asks you before the app can read it. It doesn't check again after that.

Setsy does not use your location, contacts, or advertising identifier.

Resend Delivers the sign-in emails we send. Receives your email address and the email itself.
Expo and Apple Deliver push notifications. They receive your push token and the notification text.
Apple Provides Sign in with Apple, and distributes the app through the App Store under Apple's own privacy policy.

These companies may only use your information to provide their service to us.

Other cases

We may share information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena or court order, or when it's needed to protect someone from serious harm. If Kept Records or Setsy is ever sold or merged, your information may move to the new owner, who must keep following this policy or tell you before changing it.

7. What we don't do

Because we don't track you across sites or apps, there's nothing for a browser "Do Not Track" signal or a Global Privacy Control signal to turn off. Either way, we treat you as opted out.

8. How long we keep it

9. Keeping it safe

Data travels encrypted between the app and our servers. Your sign-in session is kept in your iPhone's secure Keychain. On our servers, database access rules decide row by row who can read what, so other users only ever receive what section 6 describes. No system is completely secure, so please tell us right away if you think your account has been misused.

10. Children

Setsy isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. Users from 13 to 17 need a parent's or guardian's permission. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. For significant changes, we'll also let you know in the app before they take effect.
